Petco won't honor advertised price, no refund

I purchased one reptile terrarium at the advertised sale price. The purchase was confirmed, and the money was removed from my bank account via PayPal. I then received an email from petco stating my order had been cancelled and I was not charged. I have all proof, receipts, confirmations, from petco's site, my bank statement, and PayPal statement showing a completed transaction. NOT pending. I want my merchandise. This is fraudulent business, misrepresented item price, and not following paypals terms of use/buyer protection. Please take action against petco. They have now done this to 100's of customers. I will continue to contact petco about a resolution but so far I have not been able to reach anyone. I've sent emails and made phone calls. Please stay tuned as I will post an update if they remedy this and send me my merchandise. Thanks.

I ordered a reptile terrarium from petco online because they were having a sale. It was the only reason I decided to order from them and since I was ordering one thing I ordered some others. They cancelled the terrarium without my consent even though they had charged my Paypal account and completed the charge, not pending, completed! In the email they said they didn't charge me yet. Lies! I called customer service and they said the same thing they hadn't charged me yet, more lies! I have the Paypal statement and the emails from petco telling me what I bought and what I paid for it. If this was an in store purchase, and I bought it for the advertised price and walked out, there would be no *** way they could call it back once I paid for it, it's completely *** they can charge me for it and then cancel without and immediate refund. The customer service lady was no help what so ever, I asked for a full cancellation and refund because I did not want them having any of m business if they pull this kind of ***, and they refused to do so, saying it was too late because it was processed already. Well the terrarium was *** processed too and they waited a day to tell me, obviously some shady business practices going on there. I will never order from PetCo again and advise everyone else to do the same, they just want your money, not to help you.

Petco not fufiling orders

I placed an order for my daughters birthday for a large reptile terarium. She has been wanting one for years but the price was way to expensive. Petco was having a sale on them so i quickly grabbed one online and paid for it. The next day after I placed the order petco cancles my order saying it was a pricing mistake. Isnt that called false advertising? So now Im upset and my daughter will be too. Petco also claims I never paid for the order, but paypal clearly shows I did. So now I have to fight to get my money back and cant order another present until I do. Petco has finally crossed the line. You have lost a loyal customer (and ive put up with alot from you) I work at a retail business that actually orders a large volume from petco, but not any more. Even my boss is fed up and this was the last straw.

The exact same thing is happening to me too, I ordered the reptile terrarium and they cancelled it after charging me through PayPal. The charge went through its not pending like they lied and said it was.

They also lied saying they hadn't charged me for it.

The only reason I ordered from them was for that terrarium and when I asked to cancel the rest of my order they refused. Absolute outrage of poor customer service and false advertising.

I am so sorry for your loss. People should be aware of Petco's grooming salon's reputation.

This saddens me. Pet's are viewed as property like a T.V.

and valued as such. There should be a law that if a pet is hurt or killed at a grooming salon the owner should have a full incident report of the events.

Petco - Dog groomer never going back

Dog noted after we got him home blood and they made dog bleed never told us. They did not trim toenails at all and it was requested. OMG oon backside of ears and this person passed grooming certification forgot finsh cutting one ear backside. Very upset dogs skin around rectum area very red and irritated for few days just getting ready call vet.......what did they do use razor on hair surronding this area. .....or too rough on anal gland thing the do. from now on ONLY anal gland examined and expressed by his vet . so quite few things wrong not to mention dog was very upset when he got home for a day . No more PETCO for grooming. we are on long long waiting list for another groomer long wait list tells me and have read reviews very top notch groomer.......but long way june just and booked till september

just like humans, animals get razor burn. Either tell them to not cut so close, or dont trim at all, or don't take your pup there. Pretty simple, your choice, your money.

They shave around the anus it's called a sanitary shave. Some dogs get razor burn.

God if your service each time is that bad then why would you continue to keep shopping there in the first place? I agree the manager handled the situation unprofessionally.

But it's just as childish to go back on this website and call all of the employees *** And if their tanks look so bad and have such diseased fish then Why buy from them? Any saltwater enthusiast I know would never buy a fish from an establishment that was treating their fish as you claim.

And maybe you had to wait for ten minutes for help because they were busy assisting other customers. Perhaps polite customers who knows.
