Arrogance
Just a note to your Keller Tx. Location.
I shop all salt water stores in the surrounding metro plex and this store on occasion . On a recent visit I had noticed a revamp in your aquatic department and was excited to see this. I was looking for a gentleman named Dennis who I had dealt with in the past in two locations, the other being your Hurst location. I was told he was no longer with the company which surprised me as I had dealt with him in years past.
That was my first disappointment! In looking through your stock in salt water another disappointment as it wasn't as I thought it would be. Fish in major distress and failing in health as noticed in your coral bay as well. In my observations I was standing back and listening to an employee named Heath dealing with a few customers and I could not believe how arrogant this young man was in commenting on surrounding fish stores and his knowledge surrpassing others.
Unbelievable! I believe you lost an asset to your stores in Dennis not being there! Not saying I will never shop a Petco again but definitely not this location. I hope this location well in the future and maybe find another person with a better attitude and not claiming to be the "All Knowing" in this department.
Again Dennis was a loss for you as he never claimed to be "All Knowing" and always learning more as I do.
I hope I can find Dennis in another store in the area. Good luck Keller Petco!

Petco - Annoying Emails Review
Took my dog to be groomed at Petco on Ave Y in Brooklyn, N.Y.
We took my dog for his 1:00 p.m. grooming appointment.
While we were there another dog came in and the girl in the front desk left me to take care of him saying that she will be right back. Another girl came out to take my info. It was 1:30 p.m. by now.
The girl told us to come back at 3:30, which we did. At that time they told us another hour. We came back and were told that he was not groomed yet, just bathed. The groomer said she had a difficult dog and it was taking a long time.
We should leave my dog for another 3 hrs. Mind you, my dog was caged all this time. He was given water, but was still caged up. The groomer said she bathed him.
I bathe him at home. I brought him in to have his hair and nails cut. My husband was livid at this situation. We took our dog and went home.
He was starving and practically inhaled his food. I calmed my husband down and called Petco's manager, who said he was sorry this happened and asked me to hold on while he went to investigate. He came back on the line and said the other groomers left for the day and the groomer had a difficult dog. The manager would give us a $5 Coupon for next time.
I told the manager how unprofessional the grooming staff was. We were there 3:30. They could have told us he was not groomed yet. I will never take my dog there to be groomed.
My experience with the store has been positive until now. I feel so bad door my dog.
I wonder how many people just let them do this to them. Maybe the management should check their groomers more diligently.

Rude, nasty, fake fish tec. oneonta ny
I have been a repeat customer for a very long time. and spend hundreds of dollars a week their.
I set up tanks for people and this is were I would go until several people have told me about this tylor fake tec. that is a very nasty, rude person when talking to him. and you would like to smack him in his face. and they will not go back there.
I have not dealt with him until a couple days ago. boy were they right he has no clue about the fish. just makes up stories when you ask him about a problem with your fish. I watched him sell a few fish to a young coulpe that had no idea that they had ick.
so now they will put them in their tank and infect the rest of their fish. what a joke,, he was even nasty with me when I asked him a question about the fish in the tanks there that always have ick. and why is he selling them to people. he gave me a dirty look and even walked away from me.
which was a good thing for him. so I guess I will be taking my business to another pet store.and word of mouth goes along way

Petco - Rude Customer Service Review
PETCO in Houma Lousiana has THE most rudest employees
A couple weeks ago, i went to buy a leopard gecko, then whenever we had asked for help, all of the reptile sales associates came to us. Talking rather rudely towards my mother and I.
Telling us that we could put our leopard gecko in sand, yet PETCO had them in sand. They told us that we needed a wet hide for their shed time, which they did not, along with a gecko shedding. They told us that we needed to feed them live food, they had dead worms in their bowls. Also we had been told by the rude sales associates that the leopard geckos need water at all times.
The poor pets had the EXACT OPPOSITE of everything that was being said. You are not supposed to put more than one leopard gecko in a tank, they had about 8 geckos in a 1 foot by 1 foot tank. Needless to say i will never be buying anything from PETCO ever again.
People need to be aware of the neglect, and rudeness of all PETCOS I've been to.
