Petco - Caused the death of my two dart frogs
Spent more than 250.00 on 2 dart frogs and habitat equipment only to discover the weren't getting food shipments in - there was a shortage. I continued to drive two hours to other pet locations to keep my frogs alive - apparently the 'shortage' was only in Waco.
I couldn't continue to work and make a drive like that every week for food that my local store should keep in stock. Both of the frogs died after only having for two months. Don't sell pets if you don't plan to or have an expediency for keeping their food in stock. Complained to the local store and their solution was to offer me 20 percent off my next purchase.
No responsibility whatsoever. Called the toll-free customer service number, launched a complaint and was told the 'field supervisor' would be calling within 48 hours. NEVER HAPPENED.
UNACCEPTABLE. DON'T SELL PETS WHEN YOU WON'T KEEP THEIR FOOD IN STOCK.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $250.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

No offense dude, but it was kind of your fault. You can easily order overnight shipping on fruitflies and small crickets on amazon, joshesfrogs and a multitude of other pet suppliers
Don't make impulse purchases and take the time to learn how to culture your own fruit flies rather than rely on a store to always have them in stock. Each culture that you bought should have produced for at least 1 month so I'm not sure why you say that you had to go get new flies every week.
Almost 5 months later....still no contact.
Still waiting on team to contact me...months later. Your remarks are a sham.
