After getting my Golden Retriever groomed on Monday, she was listless and feverish on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday she was a little better but would not allow us to touch her back.
After going to the vet we found her back was covered in sores and scratches which the vet said we're most likely from the groomer. The next day we went back to the location to discuss this with the groomer and get reimbursed for our grooming service and preferably the vet visit they caused. After talking to her groomer, Billie, she said it was not their fault because they did not trim her back, only washed. The vet had explained that she probably had an allergic reaction to whatever shampoo they used.
She immediately left us without a word and we waited for fifteen minutes until we were approached again by Billie and and store manager on duty. He began to state over exactly what she said and arguing with our concerns. Because they did not trim her back and we "ok'ed" her by leaving the store that Monday they did nothing to help. Needless to say they will never get another dime from any of our family or friends.
For such a large company that claims to care about pets so much they could not even manage to give us a credit for our troubles. Ridiculous!
