Petco still sells ferrets from Marshall BioResources as well as Marshall Pet Products- for ferrets and other small animals. These are both owned by the same person and Marshall is one of the LARGEST breeders for the animal experimentation industry in the US.

ANY experiment goes, and painkillers are NOT a requirement.

People dont realize that when they purchase a ferret at Petco or if they buy toys or treats from Marshall Pet Products theyre funding these horrible companies. I am boycotting Petco until this horrible cruelty stops.

User's recommendation: Don’t support them.

Preferred solution: Stop funding Marshall BioResources and Marshall Pet Products.

Thank you for your honest review. I'm APPALLED.

Rise for Animals is an Org. to STOP Petco from buying ferrets and dogs from Marshall BioResources. Never heard of this before. Poor animals!

We’re supporting grassroots activists’ efforts from coast to coast in support of one major mission: together, we can stand up for animals and help take down an animal-abusing company by hurting its wallet. There are approximately 23,000 dogs in Marshall BioResources’ sheds on any given day. Marshall ships the animals they breed to research laboratories across the U.S. and around the world, including private contract companies where animals are subjected to toxicology experiments that force them to inhale or ingest chemicals like pesticides.

Other animals are sent to universities and used in invasive science experiments, like severing dogs’ spinal roots, cutting off their tails, and implanting electrodes on their bladders. So where does Petco come in?

Petco sells ferrets bred by Marshall BioResources and merchandise manufactured by Marshall Pet Products, a subsidiary of the cruel breeding company. By getting Petco to stop selling animals and merchandise from Marshall, we can help slash Marshall’s profits from cruelty.
