Has taken me numerous phone calls and emails to receive rewards which were promised.... Last call.... "your $5.00 reward is good for 20 days"... Why bother to have rewards at all with such a limited time? Since I rarely shop there (feed raw) and only go in for dog treats, 20 days is nothing...

Now I will go to the next town to another pet store.. not a big box store with such ridiculous rules and regulations.

I also might add that you should have customer service reps on the phone that speak English....

Another complaint.... in order to groom your dogs, they must have rabies current... My girl is 7 years old and will not be vaccinating for rabies again as there is no need.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Preferred solution: There is no solution.... unless they revise how long their $ rewards are....

Petco Cons: Person at their 800 number, Staff.

As I have stated before, I have no more time to deal with this.. and YES email has been updated for years.....

Please try and call 888-824-7257 and let them know that you never received the notification email to collect your Pals Rewards. Good luck.


I never got an email....


Once a customer qualifies to earn the Pals Rewards Dollars, we send out an email notification to let them know about their new reward within the first few days of earning them. After the reward has been issued, then all Pals Reward Dollars will expire within 45 (not 20) days of issuance date.

If in fact your rewards program is for a short period of time it's useless

If it's not your policy maybe train your customer service to be knowledgable
